Chris Hemsworth recently shared a new comic video joking about his transformation into Thor, which his brother took as the perfect opportunity to poke fun at him a bit.
Chris, 39, shared a new Instagram video on Friday, which he sarcastically referred to as “rare footage” of his training sessions to get in shape before playing the ever-buff son of Odin.
But the footage actually appeared to be from the set of his latest MCU movie, Thor: Love and Thunderwhich features the superhero getting back in shape after the character noticeably lost his fit physique in 2019 Avengers: Endgame. The actor – also known for his ultra-toned body – had to wear a fake costume during this time to give Thor his extra belly weight, which he carries in the new excerpt.
“Some rare never-before-seen footage of my transformation training for Thor,” Chris joked in the caption of his post, which showed him wearing the jumpsuit and a backwards hat while performing random martial arts moves and below average.
“It’s a unique blend of multiple martial arts disciplines and moves inspired by all the great action heroes of the 80s,” the caption continues.

But Chris’ older brother, Luke Hemsworthwho also appeared in the last Thor movie, couldn’t help but poke fun at her brother’s fake dad body, taking comments to joke, “You look way more coordinated than usual.”
The siblings all have a long history of making fun of each other publicly, but Luke, 42, wasn’t the only person who liked Chris’ video, as a fellow Marvel star. Michael Pena also left a series of laughing crying emojis below Friday’s post.
“You are hilarious 😂😂😂 Can’t wait to see what Thor does next,” one follower commented, while others dubbed the actor “Kung fu Thor.”
“Gotta love this man 😆,” someone else added. And we have to agree!
