Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we take a look back at the best user-created artwork from the past week. Well, the first “generation” of new Giant Bomb shows has been revealed and some have even graced the site. Jeff Grubb’s news show has debuted and is available for everyone to watch and enjoy on the site. Danny is set to launch two shows, and one of them will be launching very soon. None of this is to say that these shows are all that Giant Bomb has planned for the community. In July, keep an eye out for a new show from Tamoor Hussain, Lucy James and Jeff Bakalar as well as a brand new series from Dan Ryckert and Jeff Bakalar. If this is all news to you, then check out this article by Rorie going over all the shows that have been announced.. With that in mind, let’s go over some of these in more detail!
- GrubbSnax Ep. 01: Dead Space, Kojima and Microsoft is on the site and accessible to all. Going forward, the show will be a premium feature where subscribers will have access to ask Grubb what they think of the games. There will be a video compilation on the feature film’s “best moments” site which will be viewable by subscribers AND non-subscribers.
- Danny and Tamoor will team up on Borne to Run where Danny will do it by playing the many Souls games as Tamoor’s trainer and teacher along the way. It will start on July 5 and air a new episode every week.
- On Monday July 26, Borne to Run will take a week off so that we can start Guilty Treasures. It will be a monthly series where Danny interviews the staff at Giant Bomb about their favorite songs that “didn’t quite get it right”.
- Do not forget, Giant Bomb Premium is ON SALE for $ 35 until July 10!
Yesterday was a major first step in revealing what lies ahead for Giant Bomb. And these 3 sets are just the start. We have about 8 new shows in various stages of development all of which should see the light by the end of summer.
Hope you join us for the ride!
