People may have felt like they’ve traveled back in time if they walked around a film set in Metro Vancouver this week.
A movie set in Cloverdale transported the area back to the 1950s, with adorable old-school costumes and a classic restaurant with a huge spinning milkshake.
Cloverdale Business Improvement Association executive director Paul Orazietti shared a video of the nostalgic scene on Twitter, which shows actors decked out in yesteryear threads.
“Supernatural Time Travel in Cloverdale. ‘We Make Old People Beautiful!’ he captioned.

Metro Vancouver filming locations
Want to know where some of your favorite TV shows and movies are filmed?
If they were filmed in the city of Surrey, you can use an interactive map to identify some major filming locations throughout the city.
Some of the most popular TV shows filmed in the city include Riverdale, batman, The stall (an adaptation of a Stephen King novel), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and many others. Feature films include Sonic the Hedgehog, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before 3, and one The Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting.
The map also shows that a few companies filmed advertisements in the area.
However, the map is not a complete list of movies and TV shows that have been filmed in the area. For example, a recent and noteworthy exception is the Suicide Squad spin-off show titled Peacemaker with John Cena. The show was filmed in various locations around town, including Cloverdale.
Take a look at the interactive story map to see filming locations throughout the city.
