Have you ever wondered how Australian actor Chris Hemsworth trains for his films and achieves that awesome physique? Well, the Thor: Love and Thunder star took to Instagram today to reveal the training he’s currently doing to get in shape for his latest movie, Extraction, and it’s one of the most nerve-racking routines we’ve ever seen.
Chris posted a video of himself training at home on Instagram today, September 8. He explained that the workout routine he followed in the video was to prepare for the sequel to his Netflix movie Extraction. He said he went from heavy weight training to functional bodyweight movements to prepare his body for the film. These exercises help him focus more on his agility, speed and strength.
The actor, who is married to Elsa Pataky, also shared the names of all the exercises he performed in the short clip, the number of sets to do and their purpose. He captioned the video, “Getting ready for the @netflix Extraction sequel. Going from heavyweight training to a lot more functional bodyweight movements with a focus on agility, strength and speed. . Try this little exercise and let the lungs cry for mercy. “

Chris did 3 minutes of boxing (cardio), 50 squats to focus on the lower body, 40 sitting exercises for mobility, 20 reps for each exercise (base), and 25 push-ups for upper body strength . He added that you have to rest your body for two minutes and do four sets in total.
The video begins with Chris doing a game of boxing, followed by squats, sit throughs, core workouts, and push-ups. His video will certainly give you the courage to get started in the week.
