Tom Cruise reached new heights – and no, we’re not talking about “Top Gun” anymore… this time we’re talking about his new movie “Mission: Impossible” – which sounds crazy.
Check out this clip that appears to have leaked online over the weekend, with no traceable source. It’s a PSA that Tom filmed a while ago, which would have aired during CinemaCon earlier this year and ahead of a screening of “Top Gun” in Vegas.
Look… you see Tom standing on a biplane in flight, literally holding nothing but a rig and talking to the camera – which films him from another plane in front.
He says he’s filming the latest entry in the “M:I” series — appears to be “Dead Reckoning Pt. 2,” which is currently filming — and is excited to show it to people on big screen.
In the middle of his speech, he is interrupted by the director Christopher McQuarrie – who leads both Pt. 1 and Pt.1 – to tell him they’re losing daylight and have to keep firing… while he’s piloting his own biplane which stops right next to it from TC.
Tom signs off saying he’ll see everyone at the movies – and then his and Chris’s planes simultaneously dive/dive to the left, with Tom just hanging on…still standing.
Chris actually posted a picture of Tom doing something just as crazy earlier this year to commemorate his 60th birthday… with a separate plane, confirming that the guy is once again doing his own stunts. TC is famous for his on-screen exploits, especially in the “M:I” franchise.
It looks like “Dead Reckoning” is no different!
